The service

TinyCalories provides (1) an interactive calorie calculator for familiar desi foods and (2) editorial pages that explain portions, comparisons and common questions. Both are educational utilities, not a substitute for professional care.

Educational disclaimer (important)

Nutrition values are estimates for common portions. Recipes, oil, ghee, meat cuts, sugar and restaurant practice vary. Cards labeled Estimate are working figures. Cards labeled USDA matched scale FoodData Central extracts to a labeled gram weight—they are still not a lab assay of your exact plate.

TinyCalories does not provide medical, dietary, clinical or weight-loss advice. Do not use this site to diagnose, treat or manage any health condition. Speak with a qualified professional for personal nutrition guidance.

Acceptable use

• Use the calculator and articles for personal, educational reference
• Do not scrape, overload or attempt to disrupt the service
• Do not misrepresent our estimates as laboratory results or professional prescriptions
• Do not use the site for unlawful activity

Intellectual property

Site design, editorial copy, software and original photography selections are owned by TinyCalories or used under license. USDA FoodData Central and other third-party databases remain owned by their publishers; we cite them when we source-match.

Advertising

The site may display third-party ads, including Google AdSense. Ad partners operate under their own terms. Advertisements are not endorsements of products or diets.

No warranties

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Food composition and home cooking vary.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TinyCalories and TinyCalories editorial are not liable for decisions, health outcomes, losses or damages arising from use of the calculator or articles.

Third-party links

Pages may link to USDA FoodData Central and other external sites. We are not responsible for their content or policies.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
